The Repetitorium Anaesthesiologicum is organized by AnFoFo in cooperation with the German Academy for Anesthesiological Training (DAAF).
It is a lecture series on general and special anesthesia, performed by 7-10 university lecturers each in Mayrhofen (Zillertal, Tyrol, Austria). It is primarily used to prepare for oral examinations at the end of the training period or for the Examina of the European Diploma of anaesthesiology and takes place twice a year, usually at the beginning of May and early October.
Accommodation of all participants in the same hotel has proven very well and is recommended by the organiser. The number of participants is limited to 120 for organisational reasons.
Since 1995, a repetitorium anaesthesiologicum has also been offered to specialists, which sees itself as a CME (continuing medical education) measure and is primarily aimed at chief and senior physicians who want to refresh their knowledge.
Both events are recognised under the Workers ' Continue Education Act. Thus, an application for paid educational leave can be submitted to the employer (the respective documents can be found in the menu item "Notification Notice " as PDF files for download).
