Posterior Hip Soft Tissue – 2

This graphic shows transducer position 2, which can be used to obtain an image of the sacrum, ischium, gluteus maximus, and gluteus medius (seen below). 

  1. Sacrum
  2. Ischium
  3. Gluteus Maximus
  4. Gluteus Medius

If you place the transducer at location 2 (seen above), you can obtain a view of the sacrum and ischium along with the gluteus maximus and gluteus medius.
