- When Doppler velocities exceed the Doppler scale, ultrasound systems are designed to display the above-scale velocity traces as “wrapped around” the Doppler baseline.
- Aliasing action applies to Pulse Wave (PW), and color Doppler.
- However, aliasing does not apply to Continuous Wave (CW) Doppler.
