0:18 Let's get started.

0:19 First, let's unpack the main system box.

0:22 Inside, you'll find a fully assembled ultrasound system,

0:26 including the display, wireless transducer,

0:28 transducer charger, AC power cord,

0:31 cable connector, and power brick.

0:34 If you order the system without the stand,

0:36 you can mount the system

0:37 using the VESA MIS-D standard interface

0:40 with options of 75 by 75 millimeter

0:43 and 100 by 100 millimeter mounting solutions.

0:46 The stand will ship in two boxes.

0:49 Inside the stand box, you'll find the stand column,

0:52 the column insert, which is a cardboard support piece

0:55 that is important for assembly

0:56 and should not be thrown away.

0:58 The stand base, the stand arm with mount,

1:02 the tray with handle, the storage container,

1:05 the cable cover, tools and fasteners,

1:07 including a T-handle wrench,

1:09 five M6 by 30 millimeter screws,

1:12 four for assembly plus one spare,

1:14 and nine M6 by 15 millimeter screws.

1:18 Eight for assembly plus one spare.

1:20 Let's assemble the stand.

1:22 Place the stand column cord wrap side down

1:25 on the column insert.

1:27 Note the specific alignment for the column insert.

1:30 Align the stand base to the stand column

1:32 using the two locator screw heads.

1:37 Secure the stand base to the stand column

1:39 using the four M6 by 30 millimeter screws

1:42 and the T-handle wrench.

1:44 Make sure to fully tighten these screws.

1:48 Remove any temporary fasteners

1:49 holding the pre-inserted t-nuts in place.

1:53 Attach the storage container to the T-nuts

1:55 using four M6 by 15 millimeter screws.

1:58 Position the storage bin as desired

2:00 before fully tightening the screws.

2:02 Tighten the top two screws first,

2:04 adjusting the bottom T-nuts to the appropriate position.

2:08 The recommended height is 25 centimeters from the floor

2:11 to the bottom of the container.

2:14 Raise the stand upright and lock the wheels.

2:19 Partially install two M6 by 15 millimeter screws

2:23 about two thirds of the way into the two holds

2:25 closest to the handle on the bottom of the tray.

2:28 Then slide the tray over the column,

2:31 aligning the screws with the slots on the tray bracket.

2:34 Secure the screws within the slots

2:36 by pushing the tray flush to the column.

2:38 Install two more M6 by 15 millimeter screws

2:42 into the second set of holds on the tray

2:44 and fully tighten all four screws.

2:49 Before attaching the stand arm to the top of the stand,

2:52 remove the column screw.

2:54 The screw will have two attached washers.

2:56 Slide the arm down over the column

2:58 and then replace the screw.

3:00 When you slide the arm over the column,

3:02 the column will self-cap.

3:04 If you can't tighten the screw all the way in,

3:06 it is likely the arm has not been pushed all the way down.

3:11 Now let's attach the system to the stand.

3:13 You will need

3:14 to have a Phillips number two screwdriver available.

3:17 Rotate the mount on the stand arm down.

3:20 There are pre-installed screws on the back of the system

3:23 that can be used to align to the stand bracket.

3:25 These may need loosening to be able to slide them

3:28 into the top slots on the stand mount.

3:31 Place the system in the stand mount

3:32 so that the pre-installed screws rest in the slots

3:35 on top of the stand mount.

3:37 Attach the two M4 by 12 millimeter screws

3:40 to the bottom holds of the stand mount

3:42 and tighten all four screws securely

3:44 using a Phillips number two screwdriver.

3:46 If you purchase the Sonosite iLook system without the stand,

3:50 you can mount it to an alternative appropriate stand

3:53 using the standard VESA mount interface

3:55 on the back of the system.

3:56 Next, install the power brick.

3:59 Place the power brick into the holder on the stand

4:01 and connect the AC power cord

4:03 to the bottom of the power brick.

4:06 Run the power brick cable up the side channel

4:08 of the stand column.

4:10 Install the cable cover over the cable,

4:12 pressing firmly until it is flush with the stand column.

4:15 Start snapping it into place from the top

4:18 and work your way down.

4:21 Thread the system cable

4:22 through the opening between the stand arm

4:25 and the front cover of the stand arm

4:26 until the cable connector appears

4:28 at the bottom of the front cover.

4:30 Connect the power brick cable to the system cable.

4:33 Store the cable connector

4:34 by pushing it towards the stand arm and sliding it up

4:37 into the opening of the front cover.

4:40 Plug the AC power cord into a hospital grade AC mains outlet

4:44 and ensure the power brick light is on.

4:47 Place the transducer into the holder to charge it.

4:50 Allow the system to charge for four hours

4:52 before using it unplugged.

4:54 When using the battery,

4:56 keep the AC power cord wrapped around the cord wrap.

4:59 To turn on the system,

5:00 press and hold the power button one time

5:02 on the back of the display.

5:04 When powering on the system for the first time,

5:07 follow the startup wizard to configure basic settings.
